7 Ways to Wake Up With Lots of Energy

If you have trouble getting up in the morning or feel lousy when you eventually get up, maybe these tips will help you to wake up full of energy.

Here a 7 ways to wake up with lots of energy.

  1. Sleep well. Of course the first thing to do if you want to wake up full of energy is to get a good night’s sleep.
  2. Plan your day. Play your day in advance so you have something fun or important to do that morning. If you have a strong enough purpose, getting up in time full of energy should be no problem.
  3. Meditate. Meditate 20 minutes upon waking. You can meditate to relax, but you can also focus on your goals for this day or for the future.
  4. Exercise. Do something which provides lots of stimulation for your nervous system. Some Yoga or Tai Chi exercises should do the trick. This immediately sets the energy flowing in your entire body. You can also take a walk in the fresh air (you might first want to get dressed…) or take a shower.
  5. Alarm clock. Put your alarm clock out of reach. That way you have to get up to turn it off. Try having your alarm clock play a song you like. You could plug in some of your favorite personal development recordings. This will awaken your mind and consciousness. You can also play upbeat music that you enjoy singing with or dancing to.
  6. Sunlight. Use sunlight to set your biological clock. As soon as you get up in the morning, go or look outside and turn your face to the sun for 15 minutes. You don’t have to stare directly at the sun, just have your eyes focus in natural light.
  7. Check your health. If you still feel lousy after a good night’s sleep, you should check out your health and your diet. Speak to a health professional.

    Hello,

    I read the articles very useful especially the one on sleep, my issue is that I never get enough sleep when I am stressed. Generally I will sleep fitfully or not get any sleep at all due to stress

    I wonder if you have experienced the same thing?

    Great to have you here!
    I think everybody has experienced that when they’re stressed it’s more difficult to sleep well. So have I. Although I gave several tips on how to sleep well, the #1 tip is to try to relax just before going to sleep. I know that’s obvious, but if you lie down on your back and you breathe in and out (slowly) a couple of times, that helps tremendously. See also my article on How to Meditate – Use Your Imagination.
